Response from BBC – “As you know I had a contractor assess the planter, and he was unable to repair due to its poor condition. We will not be able to replace it as the planter was in poor condition to start with and allegedly the mower knocked a piece of wood of it. If not done already you may need to apply to ECC for a licence to allow you to locate a planter on the highway verge. I will make a contribution of £50 towards a replacement.”
