KHPC/0326/19 NPPF consultation response – for information
KHPC strongly disagrees with the policy and with the proposal to commence S43 Deregulation Act 2015 because they are unnecessary and inhibit local authorities from responding to local needs and priorities such as climate/carbon reduction targets. We are also concerned that there has been no information made available on the environmental impact and furthermore the change in policy does not appear to be in keeping with other current initiatives included in the NPPF.
