ENV/0625/7 Planter in front of Eagle Pub
Response from BBC – “I have had a contractor look at the wooden container opposite the Eagle pub, with a view to repair. He has reported that the planter is rotten and will be difficult to repair on to rotting wood. I am happy for him to repair, but you may want to consider a replacement with something more robust. I would suggest a regular treatment with wood preservative would extend the life of this type of planter. How ever this one is too far decayed for treatment.”

Add extra season, maybe Spring?

ENV/0625/12 Salt bag partnership

To support local communities to help themselves during periods of heavy snow and build on their community resilience, Essex County Council (ECC) would like to make available to each participating Town and Parish Council a one tonne wrapped pallet made up of individual 25kg bags for use by the community on the local highway. ECC is offering this free of charge again this year.
